It is morning of 15 March.
Arjun & his आई brought me to OPD PDMC. Dr Rahul R Ghule checked me & saw all previous reports. He asked to get admitted for operation of enlarged prostate on 19 Mar 24.
I had sent message to Gurcharan about enlarged prostate & operation.He advised to take all precautions.
We had already stayed for two days in PDMC & done all tests.

Now I am in Room No1 in surgical ward. Room is clean with attached toilet.
I spoke to vaiju& asked to send things I require for stay here.
Arjun came& brought Raw mango juice & chocolates.
आंबा पन्हे was vaiju's choice.
It was a real treat!
Dr SachinTekade surgeon paid visit & asked me." How are you sir?"
I am fine.:I told him.
He wished good stay& speedy recovery.
I admired the vision of sh Punjabrao Deshmukh to build well equipped Hospital for the people.
When he was Union agriculture minister in 1954; he had invited few farmers from Madhypradesh. My father, Dadaji had gone to see the Agriculture exhibition at Delhi . He brought HIS Master's voice Radio from Delhi in 1954.
Colonel Gaur also sent a message to call if any Intervention required any time.
I thanked him too!
Arjun's आई came in evening. Nurse took samples of blood& urine. Later I was wheeled to do XRay & ECG.
Arjun brought dinner. We enjoyed Thalipeeth, curd , चटणी.It was delicious.
Night was comfortable with occasional visits of Nurses.
One child also pushed the door& hurriedly disappeared.

It is the morning of 16 Mar24
Vaiju's आई came with breakfast.
साबुदाणा, ऊसळ.लिंबुपाणी. Delicious!
I was wheeled to cardiology Department for ECO,.later surgical ward for BP check up. Blood & Urine samples were taken.
All seems well.
Dr Anil T Deshmukh, Dean visited us.He spoke to Dr Rahul Ghule also & assured all medical attention.
We had lunch. Curd rice south Indian style & salad.
Dr Anil T Deshmukh Dean PDMC visited& enquired about health later he spoke to Dr Rahul R Ghule. Surgeon.
17 Mar 24
I got up bit late. I got ready.Yugal brought breakfast. Gujrat style ढोकला
आणि चटणी .
It was really tasty. Later Dr checked my BP.
She said " It is ok".
Vaiju's आई came with lunch.she brought सोनचाफा flowers . Lovly fragrance.
Next year we will plant lot of सोनचाफा sonchapha at cottage Ahilya.
Arunbhau rang up from Ahilyawada Bhidi & said that he is coming with cattles feeds & Grams कुटार आणि चणा for Honey& Tapi.
Arjun received them& took them to Radhawadi.
Arunbhau saw Moringa plant.He liked the horses. He even mounted on Honey for a ride, He is 77 years now! It reminded him of his childhood.
He carries a lot of spirit!
Later He visited me In PDMC.it was great pleasure to meet him.
He said he will come on operation day.
Everything is absolutely all right.come afterwards when Alphonso mango .हापूस आंबा season starts.
Nurse came to check Urine flow.
I took 2 tablets.one for acidity& another antibiotics!
We had lunch. We ate pistachios,petha,papya& oranges.
Arjun brought Dinner. खिचडी आणि दही.
Arunbhau left in the evening at 1900 hrs.
Doctors came , checked pulse.
All reports are perfect.
Arjun& Vaijudidi looked after Arunbhau well.Arjunraje gave a package gift to Kakaji. He also presented सोनचाफा potted plant.
It was a wonderful day! Vaiju's आई was with me all the time.
She is perfect in everything.God gift!

Today it is Monday. I got up at 5.05 & got ready. I heard prayers of Ganesha.
I took a small walk. I felt happy. I learnt about Ikegai, meaning life worth.
You need to be active, Be slow, enjoy every moment, be with relatives& friends.follow profession of your likes & always connect with nature.
You plant a lot of trees, do gardening,love animals& birds.
Worship cow; Keep happy.
Nature gives immense pleasure.
Take on leisurely activities & own art of mindfulness,be slow & enjoy every moment.
Yugal brought breakfast. South Indian dosa type with chatni& sambar.
Arjun's आई came. She brought sonchapha flowers.
Dr came & gave instructions for tomorrow 's operation.
Yugal brought Lunch. We had the Lunch.
Time for afternoon nap.
Arjun's आई left at 1700 hrs.
Arjun came at1839 hrs with dinner. Curd Rice! I spoke to Arunbhau, he told to take care.
Dr took blood sample& measured BP. She said It is all right!
I ate delicious meal. Just great!
Barber did his job. He cleaned operation space! Arjun helped me a lot.
Arjun left at 2010 hrs. Now it is time to relax.

19 March24
I got up at 5 o' clock.heard prayers of Ganesha. finished toilet; done shaving,sprayed old spice, dressed for day for the operation. I am feeling cheerful, planning to get marble chairs for garden. Going to connect with nature& embrace art of mindfulness.
I was wheeled to OT.Dr put saline & equipment to moniter
heart. Dr was very courteous & ensured I am comfortable. When she came to know that I am veteran colonel.she promptly saluted! How nice it was!
She gave me anesthesia in spine. I lost sensation in Lower part.she checked with equipment. My eyes were covered.
I lost my senses.could remember all close relatives.
Suddenly I was told operation is over.
I was taken on stretcher to Intensive care unit.
I slept peacefully. Arjun's आई Yugal& his आई came to see.
I feel absolutely fine.
Vaiju brought coffee& roses.
Lovely coffee! Beautiful roses.
She is planting Tulip too at Ahilya cottage.
Arjun brought dinner prepared by Vaiju Tai.खिचडी.ताक.लिंबू लोणचे.

20March
I got up quite early but kept In. Bed till Arjun brought my mobile. Vaiju's आई brought Upma& coffee. I ate Upma later sipped coffee.
Real good!
Blood was taken, my sugar level 117!
BP 130/ 90
Doctor checked again& shifted me to Room No 1.
It is quite refreshing here.
Dr khan, Medical officer Poly clinic visited& wished speedy recovery.
Thanks Doctor.
Arjun brought coffee. It was quite good.
Bhikibai went to poly clinic& brought medicines for her. She brought some apples too.
Ladoo Mama& Yugal came, brought Lunch.
In evening Dr checked me.irrigation stopped.antibiotics were given& medicine to relieve pain. Arjun gave surprise visit when he returned from Gurudwara.
He is good! Well done son!
Vaijutai sent curd rice& lemon Pickle. She sent a message that Gaytri nursery sent plants like Lichi; jack fruit.avacado Roses, star fruit, सोनचाफा & grapes.
I took dinner& Nurse gave antibiotics. There after I slept.

21 Mar2024.
I got up at 5 o' clock. I got ready.
Vaiju 'sआई came with breakfast& milk. Yugal came for a while.I thanked him for meals.He collected Tiffin. I had breakfast उकडपेंडी आणि दुध.
Nurse administered drip with pain killer.
I was taken to cardiology OPD.
Dr saw file & prescribed medicines for 15 days.
He asked to report on 5 Apr 24.
Vaiju's आई came with lunch. Rice pulao, curd was very tasty.
Colonel Gaur OC Polyclinic came to visit . I thanked him for PDMC empanelment to Poly clinic. Good hospital with all medical facilities. We requested him to discharge me by evening.
The message was received from colonel Gaur.
We were out of hospital by 745 PM. Dr suraj explained about further visit. I was greeted by Angel. Our pet! मी तिचा लाड केला.
वैजुताई ने मलाओवाळून मिठाई दिली.
सुंदर गाणी लावली. Tomato सुप दिले. किती छान! I felt really happy! She is excellent in making delicious recipes!
I am back home to "Ahilya" cottage
Vaiju Tai told that Gaytri nursery sent few plants& she paid 1700.00.
She also told that Apple blossom started at Radhawadi.
Palash पळस also has lovely flowers.
It is a lovely sight!
Arjun took the plants to Radhawadi; made sketch where to plant them.He handed over plants to Amol wankhede.
Today it is 27 March.Wednesday
Arjun& his आई took me to Polyclinic. They referred me to PDMC for removing catheter.
Dr Suraj removed the catheter at about 1145 hrs.
I am feeling like a free bird. We had lunch. Vaiju's आई distributed बुंदीचे लाडू Bundi ladoo to staff of Polyclinic & PDMC.
Well. I am running 82 now. Good going! I am grateful to God almighty for wonderful life.

We are indeed grateful to them.Great officers!
Now I am free to work on projects; Moringa plant - making powder & Bee keeping in near future at Radhawadi farm to keep busy!
